FAQ

How many dogs can you walk at once?

Dogs are walked alone or with other dogs they live with, not all dogs enjoy group walks and some dogs don't get on with other dogs, but this does not mean they should not benefit going out with a dog walker.

My dog is often refused by other dog walking services, because of their size/behaviour/neuter status, will you be able to walk them?

Yes, provided they can be walked safely. During your consultation, we can discuss how we can ensure your dog has enjoyable and safe walks with us.

Is your service insured?

Yes all services offered are fully insured.

What qualification do you hold?

About

PA to the Pets is a dog walking an pet sitting service, ran by myself, Matilda Al-irimi. We specialise in bespoke dog walks and pet visits, including cat, puppy and small animal visits. The reason these walks and visits are bespoke is that we cater the walks and visits to you and your pets needs, without having to compromise them with the needs of other pets in our care at the same time. We do this with knowledge and experience, I have a first class honours degree in applied animal behavioural science and welfare and have been caring for peoples pets on a professional basis since 2015.

We can continue any reward based training or behaviour modification plan you doing with your dog (or other species of pet!) under your instruction. Because we primarily offer solo walks the time spent with your dog is flexible, for example, if your dog is fearful, elderly or a young puppy and can only go on a short walk you can still book an hour with us and the rest of the time can be spent indoors doing whatever your dog likes best.

We offer bookings for cat visits for set amounts of time and multiple times a day because for many cats play and company is important to their well being.

PA to the Pets is a small team of dedicated pet care professionals who are all personally recruited by myself. And we always work closely together to ensure you and your your pets receive the best possible service.

We are fully insured for all the services offered and hold current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks.

And above all, I am passionate about animal welfare, fascinated by animal behaviour and have a huge soft spot for companion animals as do all the PA to the Pets team.
